Welcome to my new digital home. I look forward to connecting or reconnecting with you in this space (and hopefully IRL) as I embark on this new adventure. It’s a place where I hope that we can share insights and collaborate on ways of harnessing human potential, our greatest asset, to drive transformational growth. Whether it’s business strategy or in community, my hope is to inspire and support people in reaching their highest individual and collective potential through finding their purpose.
Many know me from my former life as the founder of the socially driven fashion brands SA VA and Van Aken Custom Uniforms. What a wonderful experience in entrepreneurship, fashion, sustainability and community. It’s hard to believe it’s been six years since I transitioned out of that business and into my role as President and COO of Kathy Davis Studio (KDS), a top social expression brand selling over 130k greeting cards every day. Both of these roles were as much life lessons as they were career milestone. I’m grateful for my tenure at KDS where I was able to bring value to the organization through my proprietary brand positioning methodology and entrepreneurial innovation. During my nearly five-year tenure we transformed the organization strategically, operationally and culturally to align around the brand’s core belief and strategic objectives. We cultivated brand value through next-generation innovation that translated into business value. And I’m most proud of my work in supporting the founder in achieving her personal and business goals through a successful exit of the business. And now, after a nice long sabbatical playing tennis and teaching yoga, I am embarking on new chapter in my career. I am beyond excited to build upon some of the most fulfilling work that I have done over the last ten years. In business, enrolling teams to drive brand and business success and in my expanding experiencing leading Eastern wisdom practices, helping people find a greater understanding of themselves.
